Kosnic Lighting is pleased to provide the following warranty covering all Kosnic branded LED lighting products.
Standard Product Warranty
Kosnic Lighting Ltd warrants that all LED lighting products comply with their published specifications and are free from defects in materials and workmanship for the respective periods of time set forth below.
3, 4, 5 or 7-Year Product Warranty
Selected Kosnic Lighting Ltd products are warranted for either 3, 4, 5, or 7 years – such products are marked with the following labels in the Evolve catalogue.
4-Year Battery Warranty
Kosnic Lighting Ltd offers a 4-year warranty for batteries used in our emergency lighting products. All other products hold a warranty for 1 year.

Should a Kosnic Lighting Ltd product fail within the warranty period from the invoice date, Kosnic Lighting Ltd will provide replacement products free of charge. If the product is no longer available, Kosnic Lighting Ltd will provide the closest alternative product or the value of alternative product at its absolute discretion. If a close alternative product is not available, Kosnic Lighting Ltd will reimburse the warranty holder with the last price paid for the original product.
LED Lighting Product Warranty
Kosnic Lighting Ltd warrants that all LED lighting products comply with their published specifications and are free from defects in materials and workmanship for the respective periods of time set forth below.Â
Kosnic Lighting Ltd LED lighting products with rated life of greater than 25,000 hours are warranted for 3-5 years dependant on product type. Other Kosnic Lighting Ltd LED products are warranted for 2 years. All other Kosnic Lighting Ltd products are warranted for 1 year. All Luminaire premium products (as described in the Evolve catalogue) are warranted for 5-7 years dependant on product type. An extended 5/7-year warranty can be offered on other products if the ‘Application for an extended 5/7-year warranty form’ is approved. All standard product warranty terms can be found in the Evolve catalogue. Should a Kosnic Lighting Ltd LED lamp or luminaire fail within the warranty period from the invoice date, Kosnic Lighting Ltd will provide replacement products free of charge. The acceptance of any claim under this warranty is subject to our warranty terms and conditions.Â
If the product is no longer available, Kosnic Lighting Ltd will provide the closest alternative product or the value of alternative product at its absolute discretion. If a close alternative product is not available, Kosnic Lighting Ltd will reimburse the warranty holder with the last price paid for the original product. The obligation to replace any product under the terms of this warranty shall only apply where it has been used for its intended or ordinary purpose and provided always that the following conditions have been met:Â
- Kosnic Lighting Ltd LED products must be installed correctly, per the product information detailed on our packaging, instruction sheets, product data sheets and best industry practices.
Kosnic Lighting Ltd LED products under this warranty should not be operated over 5000 hours per year on average within the warranty period. If the Kosnic Lighting Ltd LED product is intended to be used for more than 5000 hours a year, a separate Warranty will be issued upon request.Â
This warranty voids if the products are not installed in circuit that is protected by adequate and functioning SPD (Surge Protection Device).
The following applies to both Product and On-Site warranties:
The obligation to replace any product under the terms of the warranties set out above shall only apply where it has been used for its intended or ordinary purpose and provided always that the following conditions have been met:Â
- The warranty period commences on the date on the invoice to the contractor/end user. If proof of invoice cannot be provided, then the manufacturing date determined from the batch code on the product will be used.
- Kosnic Lighting Ltd products must be installed correctly, per the product information detailed on our packaging, instruction sheets, product data sheets and best industry practices.
- All products repaired or replaced under the Kosnic Lighting Ltd warranty will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty terms and period.
- Kosnic Lighting Ltd holds no responsibility for the ‘mismatch’ of products when replacing discontinued product(s) under warranty.
- Kosnic Lighting Ltd products under this warranty should not be operated over 5000 hours per year on average within the warranty period.
- Kosnic Lighting Ltd cannot be held responsible for the incompatibility of any lamp or luminaire with other manufacturers’ trans-formers, drivers, dimmers or control gear. A guide to compatibility where necessary is published on the Kosnic Lighting Ltd website and is available on demand. Technical advice is always available upon request.Â
The acceptance of any claim under any warranty listed above is further subject to our warranty terms and conditions which can be found in our Evolve catalogue.
