Between the 3rd – 8th March 2024, Kosnic joined 2,169 exhibitors at Light + Building, the world’s leading events in the sector, to present innovative products in the fields of lighting to more than 151,000 visitors throughout the week at the Messe Frankfurt.
Light & Building takes place every two years and is the international meeting place for manufacturers from the lighting, electrical engineering, home and building automation, and connected security technology sectors. This year, the exhibition has “Be Electrified” as its motto, and the three themes are Sustainability, Connectivity and Work & Living.
At the exhibition, we were pleased to present some of our new products from our Evolve 7 catalogue, like our new DD II lamp, Vomo, Mauna Mini, and the Universal Remote Control that is compatible with a wide variety of our products but also other products that you will see in later Evolve catalogues.
Vomo: AI retail spotlight with spectrum auto-tuning
Our brand new retail spotlight that has AI Spectrum Auto-Tuning. An AI algorithm was developed to detect and analyse the colour composition of the targeting object and fine-tune the light spectrum to bring out the true vibrant colour. It also has camera-based footfall tracking so users can monitor the traffic a display is receiving.
Ossa II: Slim IP65 bulkhead with integrated LED tray
Ossa II is our slim CCT and wattage switchable bulkhead and it is perfect for any application, whether that is indoor or outdoor.
Plus, it is compatible with our plug-in emergency module and sensor and the sensor can be configured via our universal remote control. There are also a wide variety of decorative interchangeable rings that you can choose from to customise your Ossa II.
DD II: New and popular LED lamp module for bulkheads
DD II is our new and popular LED lamp module for bulkheads that is both CCT and wattage switchable. The DD lamp also has ultra-wide diffusing optic lens that provide a shadow-free light output on the front of the diffuser.
Our plug-in emergency module and sensor is also compatible with the lamp and the ON/OFF motion sensor can be configured via our universal remote control.
Modularity is at the core of Kosnic Lighting – our products are compatible across multiple different product ranges, and we showcased this at our stand. We demonstrated how our Universal Remote Control is compatible with our wide range of products, including: high-bays, surface luminaires, fire-rated PIR sensors and linear luminaires.
They help to enhance your lighting and help reduce energy costs. No need to remember to turn the lights off or adjust the light setting, our products can do this automatically and are suitable for all applications.
