The Emergency Module with Automatic Self-Test (AST) is an optional extra for the latest Kosnic LED DD lamps. It is designed for installing within the fitting to provide a battery back-up supply in the event of a powercut through the supplementary socket on the LED DD lamp. The emergency module requires a permanent live un-switched supply to maintain the battery charge. This version of the emergency module incorporates AST technology that will perform regular automatic function and duration tests as required by EN 62034, reporting the results via the bi-coloured LED indicator on the LED DD lamp.
